Miss. Hartman is a very important history teacher at our school, she is also the ONLY mock trial advisor and our varsity cheer coach. Under the help of her, we have won multiple awards for both programs. Recently it has been made public that she is going to be fired, not only would this take away her position as mock trial advisor and cheer coach, it would also mean that she won’t be teaching history. Hartman cares for her students and is an amazing teacher, she is an amazing coach. It would be a GIANT mistake on the schools part to fire such an important member of our schools community, especially when it’s to bring in a football coach. we already do not pay enough attention to our arts programs and the importance of something like law and cheer being an option for students is very integral in making sure our building has diverse options and has a place for everyone NOT just people who are in sports.
