Stop Kash Patel's Political Retaliation Against FBI Agents

Stop Kash Patel's Political Retaliation Against FBI Agents
The Issue
Career FBI agents who worked on high-profile investigations — including the classified documents case involving President Donald Trump — have now been fired.
These agents were carrying out lawful investigative duties under existing Department of Justice authority. The cases they worked on resulted in formal charges before being dropped after the 2024 election, in accordance with longstanding DOJ policy that sitting presidents cannot be indicted.
Now, those who participated in those investigations are reportedly being removed from their positions.
The FBI Agents Association has warned that these firings strip the Bureau of critical expertise and “put the nation at greater risk.” When experienced counterintelligence and national security professionals are dismissed for participating in politically sensitive investigations, it sends a chilling message to every career investigator in federal service.
Law enforcement professionals must be able to follow the evidence wherever it leads — without fear of retaliation if political power changes hands.
We are calling on FBI Director Kash Patel and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to immediately reinstate the fired agents pending an independent review of these personnel actions.
We are also calling on Congress — particularly the House and Senate Judiciary Committees — to pass strengthened whistleblower protections for federal investigators, ensuring that career agents cannot be punished for carrying out lawful investigations authorized under DOJ policy.
This is not about party politics. It is about preserving the rule of law and protecting the integrity of federal law enforcement.
If investigators fear political retaliation, national security suffers. Accountability weakens. Public trust erodes.
Sign this petition to demand reinstatement of the fired FBI agents and stronger legal protections for federal investigators who uphold their oath.
