Domestic abusers often escape the full consequences of their actions, continuing their lives without significant repercussions. This lack of accountability not only undermines the trauma suffered by the victims but also sends a damaging message to society: that their actions have no real consequence when it comes to public and professional life.

This petition calls on Stages Nightclub to take a firm stance against domestic violence. By refusing to host performers with a history of domestic abuse, they can play a crucial role in advocating for a violence-free society.

Let’s prioritize the dignity and safety of individuals over the entertainment value provided by abusers. James Kennedy should not be allowed to perform anywhere, let alone in a town with so many impressionable people. Let’s set the standard that this behaviour is not okay and it will not be allowed to continue.
