Stop Jake Jabs from using exotic animals in his commercials!

Jake Jabs of American Furniture Warehouse has been displaying exotic animals in his commercials for years to motivate viewers to buy furniture and I think it is very inappropriate to use these exotic animals in any commercials. I believe AFW is using these animals as involuntary "props" to sell their product and to boost their profits. In addition to all the problems associated with keeping wild animals in captivity, animals used in photo shoots, filming or performing have been mistreated, injured, or even killed on set. Every year, millions of exotic animals are captured from the wild or produced in captivity for commercial profit or human amusement, only to languish in conditions that fail to meet their instinctive behavioral and physical needs. We need to raise public awareness to this problem and not contribute to it like these commercials. Across the United States, millions of exotic animals are kept captive in private homes and in roadside zoos and menageries. The trade in exotic animals is a multi-billion dollar industry, and exotic animals are bred, sold, and traded in large numbers. In addition these animals, including, among other species, lions, tigers, cougars, wolves, bears, monkeys, alligators, and venomous snakes and other reptiles, pose grave dangers to human health and safety. By their very nature, exotic animals are unpredictable and are incapable of being domesticated or tamed. These types of displays are inappropriate and by no means should become part of our mainstream culture.

Please ask Jake Jabs to stop putting these animals on public display and to stop using them for personal gain.
