After some research I have become increasingly aware of the damages of social media and the affects it is having on young children and families. 

Accounts are being used to post sexually suggestive and explicit content along side those who post pictures of their child/ren. 

Instagram has become inclusive of porn related content and when reported nothing is being done. 

Families are concerned of their young teenagers and children's mental health.  their children are overwhelmed with insecurities and body comparison. 

Some profiles contain adds to their onlyfans while also publicly posting their kids in the same profile. 

There are sexually explicit adds being scrolled past on instagram without following these accounts, some of the people in these adds dont even look 18.

When did the future of our children's health become less important to society?

For instagram to make their app either children and family friendly/ focused 

Or to decide to make it porn related would mean that we are able separate our children from this sexually explicit content and help protect them from the potential risks of predators. 

I feel like instagram is letting our children down.

I have created this petition to hope to encourage change in the instagram community and create awareness to those who use the site.

A massive change needs to happen to prevent our children being exposed along side the likes of sexually suggestive and explicit content. 

We need to fight for our children's futures.
