This petition is born out of personal pain and concern. My goddaughter is currently a patient in a facility managed by the Priory Hospital Group, East Midlands. It is with profound distress that I report possible instances of unjust and harmful treatment of patients that fall under their care.

The Priory Group is one of the UK's leading independent providers of mental health and wellbeing services, entrusted with providing care and treatment for thousands of patients across the country. However, there have been increasing instances of alleged mistreatment and negligence, damaging the reputation of the organization and putting patients' wellbeing at substantial risk. As a concerned relative of a patient, my goddaughter, I believe that we have the right to demand transparency, to call for humane and professional treatment of those we care about. It is crucial that Priory Group takes immediate and decisive action to rectify and prevent any ethical breaches, misconduct, or maltreatment within its facilities.

We challenge the Priory Group to respect patients' rights, to uphold their commitment to patient welfare and to foster a culture where mistreatment is not tolerated. We call upon the appropriate authorities to put in place rigorous checks and balances to ensure transparency and accountability within the Priory Group and other similar healthcare providers.

I guess I should now email Waterland, the owners of Priory Group. Waterland is a Private Equity fund headed by Cedric

Their mistreatment of my goddaughter is tantamount to torture and they are using the cover of hospital procedure to continue this course of action.
