More than one million dogs and cats are transported throughout Indonesia to supply markets, restaurants and slaughterhouses. These sweet, loving animals are brutally beaten and killed in front of their friends in the most horrific ways possible including repeatedly hitting them over the head with a wooden stick or metal rod, blowtorching them while they are still alive, and tying their muzzles shut so tight that they can barely breathe. When transported, they are tied in little sacks and tossed like a bag of trash on top of each other into a truck. The footage from markets in North Sulawesi shows the horrific reality of the trade and how these animals are so badly treated. This video shows it all :

The amount of suffering and fear they must go through is absolutely heartbreaking and is shocking beyond belief. My goal and other people is to stop this horrific practice and to make a difference in the lives of these animals.
