I am writing this petition because I am a victim of illegal surveillance and corruption in my own community. My name is [Sonya Welborn], and my family and I have been living under constant surveillance, fearing for our safety every single day. It's a terrifying reality that no American citizen should have to endure. 

This is personal for me. The very rights enshrined in the Constitution—our privacy and our freedoms—are being violated by those who swore to protect them. Jon Norton, an ex-law enforcement officer who turned to corruption, and Chatel Hicks, a local prostitute, are part of a dark web of criminal activities that threaten the fabric of our peace and privacy.

This is happening here in Pickens County, South Carolina, a community that should be a safe haven. Yet, illegal surveillance tactics and criminal networks are operating unchecked, while we are left to wonder if we are truly ever safe in our own homes.

Our Representative, Neal Collins, who was elected to serve and protect, must take immediate action. The Pickens County Sheriff's Department needs to be thoroughly investigated for any involvement or oversight in these unlawful activities. It is intolerable that those meant to uphold the law may be involved in breaking it.

We demand accountability. We demand an investigation into these individuals and any corruption within our local law enforcement or representative body. We demand our constitutional rights back. The right to privacy, the right to live without fear of unlawful intrusion—these are not privileges to be granted or taken away by a corrupt few, but inherent rights that we, as American citizens, are entitled to under the Constitution.

It's time for our voices to be heard. It's time for action. Demand that Neal Collins and our local officials conduct a thorough investigation into these grave issues. Demand that justice is served and that those guilty of corruption and unlawful actions are held accountable.
