Stop Home Break-Ins in Granada Hills - Demand Action NOW!

The Issue

To: Devonshire Police Department & Councilmember John Lee

From: Concerned Residents of Granada Hills

Our neighborhood has been experiencing a disturbing rise in home break-ins, with criminals using masks, jumpsuits, gloves, and coordinated getaway vehicles to avoid detection. These break-ins are not isolated incidents—they are part of an ongoing pattern that continues to put our homes, families, and safety at risk.

Recently, a group of burglars attempted to break into a home in our community, only retreating when the homeowners arrived in time to scare them off. We cannot wait until someone gets hurt to take action.

We, the undersigned residents of Granada Hills, urgently request immediate safety measures to prevent further crimes and protect our community:

Our Safety Requests:

1. Red Curb Striping Along Perimeter Walls – To prevent suspicious vehicles from parking for extended periods while scoping out homes.

2. Speed Bumps in Key Locations – To slow down getaway cars so security cameras can capture clearer license plate footage.

3. Increased Police Patrols & Surveillance – To deter criminal activity and improve response times.

4. Improved Street Lighting & City-Funded Security Cameras – To enhance visibility and assist law enforcement in identifying suspects.

We are calling on our local police department and Councilmember John Lee to take immediate action before more homes are targeted. Our safety cannot wait!

Please sign this petition to show our city leaders that we demand better security measures for our neighborhood. Every signature counts—let’s stand together and make our voices heard!
