Once upon a time, we decided we wanted to live in the country and God seemed to place this beautiful country property right in our lap. We have been here eight years and are two years into our remodel/addition. My family and I enjoy the quiet sounds of the country, the night sky and of course the fishing right in our backyard. We’re super close to being done with our remodel, and now our newest challenge is dealing with a high voltage power line going up next to our country property. Residences with proximity to high voltage powerlines have known health effects ranging from migraines to cancer and can lower property values up to 44%. Not to mention the very loud noise that comes from power lines. @iidatwork has contacted us and has told us that these high voltage power lines have no more effects than microwaves or cell phones. � One of our biggest concerns is that we will ultimately be forced out of our home and bought out.
