In my life, I love animals. Each of them are unique and cool. Sure, I'm afraid of some, but many of them don't deserve to be hurt or become homeless! I can't sit around and do nothing about it! I'm done doing nothing or being made to feel helpless. I want to fight for animals to have a home and to ensure their habitats are safe and not destroyed.

The Trump Administration's policies have been detrimental to wildlife habitats across the United States. Development projects, drilling, and deforestation encouraged under these policies are harming ecosystems, displacing countless animal species, and leading to the destruction of their homes.

It's not okay to claim "as long as animals aren't hurt, it's still okay." The truth is, by destroying their habitats, we are indeed causing harm that can have very serious and long-lasting impacts on biodiversity and the health of our planet.

Already, thousands of acres of wildlife refuges and public lands are at risk of being lost forever, resulting in decreased diversity of species, many of which are already endangered. According to environmental reports, these actions threaten the existence of over 1,600 species.

But there’s hope. Together, we can hold those in power accountable and demand protective measures for these sensitive lands. We can push for legislation that prioritizes conservation efforts, limits destruction, and promotes rehabilitation of harmed areas.
