TFL have asserted what we already know. That the main reason for increased congestion along Wandsworth Bridge Road in recent years is due to our Low Traffic Neighbourhoods.

Furthermore they note that they have seen a slight increase in bus journey times since the parklets were introduced which they say suggests that it is more difficult to manoeuvre on this route. 

A recent response to an FOI request published on their website shows that TFL are querying the need for 7 zebra crossings with built out pavements in less than 1km of road and are still waiting for LBHF to provide enough evidence to demonstrate that their proposals do not materially affect traffic movement and bus speeds.
