Senseless gun violence is always headline news and there seems to be no way of regulating the guns. This impacts everyone regardless of race, stature, and age.
My proposal is to not stop the purchasing of guns, but to run background checks every time ammunition is purchased and to limit how much ammunition can be purchase within a given time. This could also curb illegal firearm ammunition purchases, if you do not have a registered firearm you would be ineligible to purchase ammunition. This may not be the absolute answer but it will curb senseless shootings and illegal firearms.
