A few days ago, my partner had a disagreement with Graham Moore over messenger. Shockingly, Moore chose to screenshot my partner's profile and attempt to slander his name publicly in his Everything Sechelt group. In an effort to defend my partner, I commented, attempting to correct the misinformation being spread. My voice was silenced; I was banned and censored by Graham Moore.

Bullying and slander are not only morally reprehensible, but they are also against the Canadian Hate Speech Laws (Article 318-320 of the Criminal Code). Further, censorship violates the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms that safeguards freedom of speech. Logging on to social media should not be an invitation for bullying or an exercise in power dynamics.

Thus, we are urging local authorities in Sechelt, BC, Canada, to take immediate action against Graham Moore. His actions have created a toxic and hostile environment on the "Everything Sechelt BC" online platform, causing distress and harm. It is time to put an end to this pattern of behaviour, holding Graham accountable for his actions and ensuring that local online communities are respectful, safe, and inclusive for all participants. 

Please stand with us against bullying and censorship, and for the freedom of speech. Signing this petition sends a strong message that such behaviour will not be tolerated in any community, online or off. Thank you for your support.
