In Gurugram, our roads, especially the Gurgaon Faridabad Road leading to the Bandhwari landfill, are plagued by the sight and smell of waste.

While construction material is regularly dumped alongside the roads, another culprit are the garbage trucks commuting to the infamous Bandhwari landfill. These trucks are mostly overloaded and left open from the top, allowing waste to spill over and pollute our roads and surroundings.

Vehicles should not be allowed on the roads unless their loads are securely covered and within permissible weight limits. Implementing these changes will significantly reduce the spillage and ensure that our roads remain clean. Additionally, imposing fines on vehicles violating these norms can act as a deterrent and encourage responsible waste management.
