Time for a final push! Can you join us?

My school district, Brevard Public Schools, issued this memo to the Brevard legislative delegation, detailing the projected impact of 50% funding cuts to accelerated learning programs in our district.  Clearly if the proposed budget passes, we are in for some dire consequences. 

Fortunately, our state reps and senators are in their home districts next week for a recess since the House and Senate still need conference time on a multitude of issues. 

If you’re concerned about these cuts— we need you to help us convince our elected officials that these cuts are the wrong move for Florida!  Schedule a meeting with your State Representative and Senator(if you’re in Brevard- we have groups forming already, please let me know if you can join) and tell them what these programs mean to you or your child.
