House passes 50% cuts to Advanced Learning programs

Today the Florida House converted HB5101 to the Senate’s companion bill, SB7030. The House then amended the Senate’s bill to include the 50% cuts to AP/AICE/IB/Career Tech Ed/ Dual Enrollment funding. They passed this new bill 80-27.

It is my understanding that they will now need to address their changes to the Senate Bill in conference with Senators before the bill can make it to the Governor’s desk.

Please continue to fight to preserve funding levels for accelerated learning programs.
