Stop favoritism in the classroom

The Issue

A lot of students have a teacher who seems to like a specific student in class. I admit that getting along with someone is unavoidable due to varying personalities. However, when teachers get along with a student more than others and give them special treatment due to this, education imbalances and will damage student-teacher relationship.

Favoring a student leads to no good and only break the students self-esteem. Students who are not given special attention because of partiality may feel inferior academically, socially, or physically to their peers. This is a harmful mindset that could be avoided if professors maintained their objectivity.

Those student who didn't get favoured by the teacher will start to hate the favoured one. Even though the teacher thinks they are benefiting the kid, their peers may have turned against them, hurting rather than helping the student. As a result, the mental health of the so-called "favorite" may subsequently suffer.

Teachers play a crucial role in being unbiased to compatibility and focusing on each student's unique talents to determine how best to support them. While everyone has preferences for the individuals they connect with more easily, teachers have a crucial responsibility to be impartial. Students may face more loss than benefit if they do not receive an impartial education.
