We’re calling on YouTube to take a stand and stop the abuse of the copyright strike system.

Right now, anyone can file a false copyright claim against a creator — even if the content falls under fair use, commentary, criticism, or education. These false strikes can:👀

1-Take videos down instantly
2-Limit monetization
3-Damage a creator’s channel reputation
4-Even lead to permanent bans.

And the person who filed the false claim?🤔

They walk away with no consequences — even though they signed a legal statement under penalty of perjury.

This is abuse, and creators are tired of being punished while liars get away clean.💯

🚨 We Demand That YouTube:

Penalize users who are caught filing false copyright claims — including community guideline strikes or limited tool access.

Remove or reverse strikes quickly when proven false, without creators having to wait 10–14 days under threat.
Create a review process before auto-taking down content from smaller creators.
Enforce the law — if someone knowingly lies under penalty of perjury, there should be legal consequences.

💬We’re creators. We’re the platform. We deserve protection.

✍️Sign this petition to demand YouTube stop allowing its system to be used as a weapon. It’s time to protect creators, not punish them.
