The Issue

The internet has become an essential part of our daily lives, offering unprecedented convenience and connectivity. However, it has also opened the door for misuse by individuals who hide behind anonymity to spread misinformation, create fake profiles, and lead malicious activities under the guise of legitimacy. This is not just a distant problem—it is affecting real people, including me.

In recent times, I have become a victim of Mr. Truth Hertz, Chris Wilson, and a shadowy group named "Transparency Now" among others, who have relentlessly engaged in cyberbullying and harassment against me. They disguise their malevolent intent by creating fraudulent profiles, fake groups, and even deceptive Change.org petitions that aim to harm others and perpetrate falsehoods about causes they falsely represent. They have taken it a step further by doxxing personal information, leaving victims in fear and distress.

The actions of these individuals and groups are not just personal attacks; they are a broader societal issue that demands urgent attention. According to the Pew Research Center, 41% of Americans have experienced some form of online harassment. The anonymity provided by the internet can encourage harmful behavior by making it difficult to trace perpetrators and hold them accountable.

To combat this growing problem, we call for stronger regulations and verification processes on platforms like Change.org to prevent the creation of fraudulent profiles and petitions. By implementing better identification methods, we can deter individuals from misusing the anonymity of the internet to spread harm and hate. These measures should include heightened identity verification, reporting mechanisms strengthened to dismantle fake groups quickly, and transparent communication from platform authorities about actions taken against offenders.

Standing up to these acts of deceit and bullying requires public support and a collective voice to bring about real change. By signing this petition, you are joining a movement to encourage online platforms to foster greater transparency and accountability, safeguarding all users from harassment and deceit.

Let us unite to make the internet a safer place for everyone. Please sign this petition to demand that Change.org and other online platforms take decisive action against the misuse of anonymity for malicious purposes. Together, we can ensure that these platforms serve their intended purpose of promoting truth and justice.
