Sadly, she was attacked, and while she survived, the alligator was not so fortunate; it was put down. Similarly, a story emerged about a man interfering with gator eggs, provoking natural defensive behavior from a mother gator—who also ended up losing its life.

This unsettling pattern repeats across Florida, where the clash between humans and wildlife often ends in the unjust punishment of gators that act on instinct, protecting themselves and their offspring. It’s time for change. Gators should not be the ones 'punished' for simply existing in their natural habitats.
