Growing up in Callington, I have always cherished the lush landscapes and the tranquil beauty of our community. But now, this personal connection to my home is under threat. EDF has proposed to build a massive solar farm on the outskirts of town, and I can't stand by while our once pure pastures are turned into fields of metal.

The planned EDF construction is not only unnecessary given the existence of three solar farms already operational in our vicinity, but it also poses a significant threat to our valuable farmland. Solar panels, contrary to their 'green' branding, contain many toxic materials that pose recycling challenges at the end of their lifespan.
