We were mortified to receive a solicitation from St. Joseph’s Indian School. With the history of Catholic-run Native boarding schools, we were horrified to learn one was still in existence. Upon review of the St. Joseph’s Indian School, we learned they have been indoctrinating and torturing Indigenous children since 1927. “My relative calls St Joseph’s “a smorgasbord” for pedophiles and rapists who preyed on and terrorized Native children. He describes beatings and nights of terror as priests took their pick of the children as they slept. The abuse was worse for the girls, who were sometimes impregnated by their rapists, he tells me. His experience was not unique and has been documented elsewhere by journalists and scholars.” 

St. Joseph’s has also been involved in fundraising fraud generating $51 million dollars in financial contributions and that an analysis by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), found that St. Joseph’s failed three of the BBB’s standards for accountability. CharityWatch has also given St. Joseph's an "F" rating.

We also noted under the Federal Indian School Initiative, the St. Joseph’s Indian School will be/has been investigated to determine how many Indigenous children have been killed while in the care of the staff of St. Joseph’s Indian School.

Please sign this petition to stop donations to this school. This practice was outlawed and this predatory "school" must be shut down now.
