On 25 October 2022, North Ryde RSL wrote a proposal involving building 132 residential apartments on the TG Millner playing fields at Marsfield. Resulting in a great loss of open green space in the Ryde area. Many parks and fields around this suburb have been lost and forgotten due to construction, uprising buildings, overpopulation, and greed. 

TG Millner Field is in the North West Sydney suburb of Marsfield, New South Wales, Australia, and is currently the home ground of Eastwood Rugby Club, a rugby union Club that competes in the Shute Shield competition. 

North Ryde RSL and Eastwood Rugby submitted a proposal to the City of Ryde council to rezone the privately owned TG Millner Field in Marsfield and the construction of 132 terraced houses and a smaller new public park. 

 

 

 

 

Our State Members and Ryde Mayor, Jordan Lane are showing there support for this mission and defiance for the construction that could destroy our parks, sporting opportunities and family leisure time activities. Contribute to this campaign, just as the govenment has prepared a petition for us that he will present to Parliament. The aims of this campaign is:   

- Stop any development at TG Millner;
- Keep the grounds zoned as a leisure and recreational.

Our petitions will be presented to the Ryde City Council Mayor to present to his Council and to the NSW State Government, Minister for Planning to represent the concerns and passion of Ryde locals to Stop Development on TG Millner Fields.
