Good evening, friends of the Swimming River.

I am truly speechless.  Nearly 500 have signed the petition!  Thank you all so much for supporting this cause.  Together, we can make meaningful arguments to prevent development, protect the wildlife and preserve the Swimming River in it's natural beauty for future generations.  But I need volunteers!  There are many similar cases that we can research and contacts to be made with other successful local environmental advocates.  There is no specific time requirement but if you have any time to offer, I'd appreciate it.  If you are interested in taking an active role, please send your name, phone number and email to: saveourswimmingriver@gmail.com.  Thank you.
