Four of your neighbors recently received a letter indicating that AvalonBay Communities, Inc., a publicly traded real estate investment company that invests in apartments, has conducted a wetland delineation survey to alter the wetland transition zone behind our homes, on our beloved Swimming River.  NJDEP will determine whether or not to grant a waiver but we have an opportunity to voice our thoughts, opinions and views.  Please sign this petition if you DO NOT wish for any alteration of the Swimming River, its wetlands, woodlands/uplands or estuaries in the 35 acre parcel located at Block 1131, lots 30, 31 and 32 in Middletown, NJ. 

However you use our river, be it to kayak, jet-ski, fish, crab or just enjoy the beautiful vistas, we owe it to ourselves, our neighbors, this precious ecosystem and future generations, to protect it.
