The Issue
I hope this message finds well. I am writing to bring your attention to a critical matter that requires urgent consideration.
My name is Elvis Bourdillor,I’m from Nigeria. I came to Canada November 6, 2019.
I applied for refugee claim but was denied and I got married but my marriage failed got a divorce and enter a common law with my partner in 2022.
I also applied for an open work permit and I don’t know what happened, the immigration told me they didn’t see my renewal application for work permit so even sent them a proof of payment and and told them.
I did submitted the renewal of my of work permit through webform, the agent told me they can’t process an application through the webform.
my common law partner is currently sponsoring me, but I’ve been giving deportation order to leave Canada to my country Nigerian I couldn’t leave Canada based on the risks on my life if I should go back to Nigeria.
I’m currently on pill of PTHD depression which is also diagnosed by Alberta health services. Right now my pill is finished I can’t refill it based my situations.
it is very dangerous and I might be killed if I go back to Nigeria from Nigeria police, on my right leg I have a huge injury which I stated to the CBSA officer, I also provided all the documentations, and I applied for PRRA but was rejected in two weeks from CBSA officer.
my wife was pregnant and her pregnancy was at a high risk which her doctor also provided a letter for, but we have tried everything possible to convince the officer but she refused to listen to us.
my wife was rushed to the emergency room where she had operation for our baby to be born, im the only source income or help my wife my baby have, I can’t leave them they are going through hardship and traumatic experiences I’ve been depressed and had a thought of committing suicide but the only hope I have is my baby and my wife.
I’ve worked and pay taxes and no crime was committed, I’ve worked as a security guard during Covid especially hospital facilities. Food industry, warehouse associate. I’ve contributed in helping people to make sure their safety is guaranteed as a security guard.
my wife sponsoring me at the moment but the CBSA is after me, I need help!! People should come to my rescue I am frustrated I do not know what to do at this point.
I need help from everyone and support sign this petition to allow me stay here with my family, I’ve done everything spent a lot of money on lawyers I’m so exhausted.
I’m acting now because I need help and I can’t do this alone, I don’t even have nothing on me, I’ve been indoor for about 7 months now, I’m very stressed and my life is in danger please help me sign a petition, looking at the hardship in Nigeria right now is hard and I can’t be able to start life in Nigeria with nothing and I’m not even save there.
They kidnapping people every single day in Nigeria, it is bad really bad,I lost my father at the age of 9 years old, my mother is a widow and have been struggling to survive since my father passed away, and I do not have anyone to help me or support me financially, I’m the one helping my family back home.
it’s tough I want the Canadian government to do what they are known for! Helping family to be together not division of family.. thank you
