As a passionate listener of Kpop music and advocate for the mental health of Kpop groups, I am deeply disturbed by the toxic behavior exhibited by some fans towards Sunoo, a member of the boy group Enhypen. It is unacceptable to send death threats or harass anyone, regardless of circumstances. Sunoo does not deserve this mistreatment.

The issue extends beyond just one individual or group. Cyberbullying is a widespread problem in our digital age, with around 37% of young people between the ages of 12 and 17 having been victims (Cyberbullying Research Center). This behavior can have severe emotional consequences for its victims.

In particular, Kpop stars are often under immense pressure and scrutiny from their fanbase. They face high levels of stress due to their public image being constantly monitored and criticized. The added burden of receiving death threats only exacerbates these issues.

We must raise awareness about this issue not only within the Enhypen fan community but also among all fans across different fandoms worldwide. We must promote respect for artists' personal lives and mental health in addition to appreciating their talent.
