My name is Adam Hollingsworth, also known as the Dreadhead Cowboy, and I’m standing up against corruption, injustice, and the broken system of DCFS in Illinois. I’ve seen firsthand how families are torn apart without due process, how children are placed in unsafe environments, and how parents especially in underserved communities are treated as guilty before ever being heard.

Too many families have been wrongfully separated, too many children have suffered in abusive foster homes, and too many parents have had their rights stripped away without fair trials. DCFS is supposed to protect children, but instead, it operates with little oversight, making decisions that often cause more harm than good. This is not justice. This is not accountability. This is government overreach.

I refuse to stand by while families are destroyed. That’s why I’m leading this petition to demand independent oversight, transparency, and real reform within DCFS. We need a system that supports families instead of breaking them apart, one that protects children instead of failing them.
