Are you someone that has or abides by a dietary restriction? Are you adhering to a vegetarian, vegan, pescetarian, dairy-free, paleo, keto, Halal, Kosher, etc... diet? Do you have allergies to certain foods? Or are you just a picky eater that is fed up with finding bits of olives in their sub when you specifically said no olives?! 

If any of the above applies to you or someone you know - or you just don't like the idea of your food being touched by hands that have been in every other container - then this petition is for you. 

We are asking Subway, one of the World's largest restaurant franchises, to look out for its customers to prevent cross contamination. If you've ever ordered at a Subway, you may have experienced the horror of watching the Subway sandwich artist place their gloved hands in the bacon or chicken container for the customer in front of you and then use that same hand to grab a bunch of tomatoes only to put half of them back. Guess who's getting those meat juice contaminated tomatoes? That's right, you are! Or the next poor sap who didn't even witness it.

The solution? Tongs! (Or serving spoons/forks depending on the food). Now just imagine that every container has its own specific tong or serving utensil. No more stuffing their hand down the green peppers after picking up a pile of pepperoni. Each container has its own utensil, no more cross-contamination!
