I am reaching out today with a heavy heart as my own family has suffered terribly due to the actions of Child Protective Services (CPS). We have been torn apart once, and as if that wasn't enough, they’re now trying again. It’s a vicious cycle that needs to come to an end. Our suffering is not an isolated incident; many families across the United States face similar, heartbreaking battles with an agency that's meant to protect, not destroy.

While CPS holds a significant role in safeguarding children, there are distressing instances where they act fraudulently or misleadingly, often resulting in the unwarranted separation of families. This involves false allegations, manipulation of evidence, and biased investigations. There should be clear, strict protocols against using manipulated evidence, and stronger penalties for fraudulent practices. Training for CPS workers must be improved to focus on integrity, fairness, and the real welfare of children.

Families deserve a system that respects their rights and works genuinely for the betterment of their children. Let us urge lawmakers to put pressure on CPS to change and adopt fair, transparent methods. Only by doing this can we protect countless children and families from enduring the unnecessary trauma of separation.
