Stop Corruption in Alabama CPS, DHR, and Family Courts – Protect Our Children and Families

The Issue

Children deserve protection—not corruption. Families deserve fairness—not control. In Alabama, parents, especially mothers, who comply with every requirement of CPS and DHR, who prove their ability to provide safe and loving homes, are still losing custody of their children.

Instead of focusing on family reunification and child well-being, too often children are placed in the custody of others, while parents’ rights are ignored, violated, or stripped away without true due process. Family courts and judges, in partnership with CPS and DHR, are failing the very families they are meant to protect.

This is not justice. This is harm. We demand reform.

📝 What We Are Demanding:

Accountability & Oversight

Establish independent oversight of Alabama CPS, DHR, and family court decisions.
Require transparency in custody removals, case management, and judicial rulings.

Family Rights Protections

Guarantee that parents who have fulfilled all requirements and demonstrated safe parenting are not unjustly denied reunification.
Protect parental rights with stronger safeguards against wrongful removal.

End Corruption & Abuse of Power

Investigate cases where families report rights violations, bias, or corruption.
Hold judges, caseworkers, and agencies accountable when misconduct or abuse of authority is proven.

Legislative & Policy Reform

Support laws that prioritize reunification when safe and appropriate.
Mandate clear checks and balances to prevent systemic corruption.

Why This Matters:

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving home—and when parents prove they can provide that, no agency, court, or judge should deny them that right. Corruption, secrecy, and unchecked authority within CPS, DHR, and family courts are tearing families apart and traumatizing children across Alabama.

We cannot allow this injustice to continue. Families must be protected, parents must be respected, and children must be safeguarded from systems that too often harm them instead of help them.

🖊️ Call to Action:

We call on Governor Kay Ivey, the Alabama Legislature, and the Alabama Department of Human Resources leadership to:

Launch independent investigations into CPS and DHR practices.
Enact reforms to protect family rights.
Ensure transparency, accountability, and justice in family courts.

Together, we pledge to stand for Alabama’s children and families, demand change, and end corruption in our child welfare system.
