MDOC Facilities have corrections officers that come to work everyday just to utilize the prisoners as punching bags. They do not care about the health and or safety of the prisoners. My husband Khalique Brewer has been an inmate a Bellamy Creek Corrections for a couple of years. They refused to give him a surgery that he was due to have done a year ago. This year he has been suffering from them lacking professionalism and not caring how they should. I have reached out to several different resources! The internal affairs , Humanity for prisoners , and the Medical Administration team. He still has not received the test needed . On 1/14/2023 3 officers planted a weapon and several other illegal substances in Khalique Cell ! These are the same officers that he had been receiving jokes about when he was continuously asking for help with his medical issues . The nurse demanded he not stand for 10minutes but the CO made him crawl from the top of the stairs to his cell while bleeding. I had to call that entire week before I got a response. Khalique has been threatened by officers, yelled at as if he was not a human , and harassed. Inmates are set up for failure , degraded and thrown in the hole when they stand up for themselves. Officer Ginsen , Tenierelli, and [spelling of name is being confirmed] worked together to get the items planted! Ginsen performed the first shakedown ! Everything was good to go . (it is policy to perform only 1 shakedown UNLESS there is probable cause ) Tenierelli came around because he was performing count! Tenierelli is the same officer Khalique had a disagreement with earlier that day! Tenierelli STOPPED at his door .( Khalique was in the visitation room ) He made Khaliques Cell mate leave , he asked why we already had a shakedown by Ginsen ? He told his cell mate to go to the Dayroom . Not even 1minute later Tenierelli walked out and held a sharpened pen up to the camera!
The 3rd officer who’s name is still currently unkown , claim to have found illegal substances inside of the room ,he went in for not even 2 minutes ! (The camera footage would show and cover all of this information I am stating) THEY DID NOT HAVE A BLOCKED REPRESENTATIVE PRESENT DURING NEITHER OF THEIR SEARCHES !!! Blocked representatives are supposed to protect inmates in situations like these and they were not present !  I am currently waiting for the Warden to give me a call . My husband is in segregation.  I have already contacted ACLU , Fox 17 ,  AMERICAN Friends , Humanity for Prisoners , and the Internal Affairs for MDOC Facilities. I need as many signature that agree that MDOC Facilities need to be investigated your loved one can be at risk ! These officers are supposed to protect our Loved Ones not come to treat them like they are dogs , when they are not having good days ! They make over 25+ an hour to do nothing and plant illegal weapons and substances on inmates.  They NEED TO BE STOPPED , AND INVESTIGATED , THEY USE RETALIATION AS A SCARE TACTIC TO MAKE PRISONERS AND THEIR FAMILIES NOT STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES!
