Why won’t JetBlue commit to monitoring the ‘odours’ (a term created by the aviation industry to downplay the seriousness of aircraft oil and hydraulic fluid fumes) onboard their aircraft to enable crew to confirm when harmful fumes are present?, and why do they still rely on the only sensors onboard (the crew’s noses) when there is sophisticated equipment available to do this?, and more importantly why won’t they commit to providing clean air onboard their aircraft?
