Our family, like many others in our small community, is deeply concerned about plans to construct a massive 5G cell tower just a few steps from our doorsteps. My most significant worry centers around my medically frail child, who already faces a myriad of health challenges. The thought that additional exposure to electromagnetic fields might exacerbate their condition keeps me awake at night.

It's not just about my family. Independent scientific studies have raised questions about the long-term health effects of living in close proximity to these towering structures, including potential risks of neurological consequences or other health issues. Our request is simple: the company should reconsider the location of this 5G cell tower and find a suitable site that does not directly infringe on our homes and lives. Placing this tower further from residential areas could preserve our peace of mind while allowing technological advancements to continue.

We urge our local government and the telecommunications company to halt this project until a comprehensive community consultation is carried out, and alternative locations are explored. We are not against progress, but it should not come at the cost of community health and well-being.
