STOP Commercial Building On 126 Adcock Road, Hot Springs, AR!

The Issue

*IMPORTANT TIME SENSITIVE NOTICE FOR ADCOCK ROAD AREA RESIDENTS - Hot Springs, AR: Potential Changes On Adcock Rd May Have Neighborhood And Traffic Implications! Your Voice Matters!!

Does congested traffic going from Adcock Rd to Airport Rd keep you from getting to your destination in a timely manner (work, school, etc.)? What about traffic to get home as you are turning from Airport Rd on to Adcock Rd?

Are you concerned about commercial buildings pushing further and further into our residential neighborhoods?

If you live on Adcock, do you have a hard time pulling out of YOUR driveway on to Adcock Rd because of heavy traffic

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, then as a fellow Adcock Road Area Resident, I urge you to sign a petition to STOP the "LARGE SCALE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT" of 126 Adcock Road. (If you are turning on to Adcock Rd from Airport Rd, 126 Adcock Rd is the first house on the right.)

I've lived in the Adcock Rd area for over 10 years. I am very frustrated with the potential for large scale commercial development so close to our homes!! Previous commercial development on Adcock in the past few years has already caused traffic increases and residential privacy issues. I only see further commercial development on Adcock adding to these issues.

Recently, I saw this one day on the way home:

A sign on the property of 126 Adcock Rd, which reads the following:
"PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING March 10 @ 6 pm
CONTACT: plan@cityhs.net
(501) 321-6650
SPA-22-040 / SPA-22-044 126 Adcock Rd. Large Scale Development For NEW Commercial Construction in Site Plan Review."

[The proposed plan for 126 Adcock Rd is to remove the house that is on the property and build 2 Commercial Strip Buildings - which the planning commission describes as "large scale development for new commercial construction."]

Are you concerned on commercial building further encroaching into residential areas? If so, sign this petition to show your opposition!
