I have always believed that climate change and littering are serious problems that can’t be ignored anymore. They both go hand in hand when it comes to taking care of the environment. 

Our weather is getting more extreme, our air feels more polluted, and trash on the ground makes our neighborhoods look dirty and unsafe. No one wants to live in a neighborhood represented by trash and contributing to climate change. Littering hurts animals, pollutes our water, and shows that people don’t care about the place we all share.

We are asking our local leaders to take stronger action by improving recycling programs, teaching people how to reduce waste, and enforcing rules against littering. We also want more community clean‑ups so everyone can help keep our environment healthy.
