STOP CHILD ABUSE AND VULNERABLE PERSONS ABUSE DUE TO SYSTEMIC FAILURES

The Issue

As the mother of 2 children with disabilities, both left severely abused by individuals in positions of status and responsibility, with devastating impact by the enabling of this abuse by systemic failures in Ireland.

I am now forced to take action to protect all children, whistleblowers, decent honourable workers, carers and families from the significant exposure to harm by the state.

The Irish Government claims they protect our children and vulnerable persons from abuse.

No, they protect children from abuse by a family member, but not from the state agencies employees whom may abuse a child or abuse their power of authority to cover up the abuse of a child.

This applies across multiple agencies in Ireland

Once anyone employed by state agencies is notified of abuse being perpetrated by a person in a position of authority or with easy access to children, the child and families of the abused child are shut down, ignored, isolated, causing further harm to child and family.

Open, transparent communication does not exist between the agencies with responsibilities toward children and therefore further places children being abused by the state at further risk of significant abuse and neglect for years.

Withholding information that abuse is occurring by officials and not acting to stop the abuse is a crime.

Withholding such information is an ongoing activity daily within state agencies, with no agency taking the mandated role and responsibility to safeguard and protect children being abused by state agency employees seriously.

I will not withhold what I know to be an omission in Irish Policy and reckless endangerment of children by the state.

All governmental offices are aware in writing of this significant risk of exposure to abuse from systemic failures, but zero action has ever been taken to change the wording in policies etc.. to ensure the safeguarding of all children.

Government policy, guidelines, templates and laws etc.. guide multiple agencies to include, HSE, HOSPITALS, SSWHG, COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE, TUSLA, CAMHS, SCHOOLS, BOARDS OF MANAGEMENTS, GARDAI, LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES and MINISTERIAL OFFICES as to how best to operate and take action if a child is placed at risk of harm.

All policies set out have no wording in place to protect a child, if abuse of a child occurs by any of the named agencies.

If it is a Doctor, a Teacher, Priest a Garda, Department official or adult outside of family that is the cause of such abuse, the wheels of motion are very quickly activated by all government agencies to cover up, coerce, collude, and protect the state and the abusers, enabling, condoning and permitting the abuse to continue while destroying families.

For anyone who becomes a whistleblower, they are disgraced, degraded and left worthless.

I am seeking the support of people all over, whose children and their families are exposed to this harm (which is every child and every family) to actively sign this petition for the necessary amendments to be made in any such policies.

We invite the Taoiseach’s office, The Department of Children, Disabilities, Equality, The Department of Health, The Department of Education & Department of Justice to engage in a collaborative, congruent manner with a delegation of which I am part of to stop the cycle of abuse that is being permitted by the Irish Government, to place in policy the wording that is omitted to safeguard all children, their families, and employees who are afraid to speak out and ensure the safeguarding of all children where abuse is occurring in all situations currently without safeguarding.

I want to acknowledge the amazing people within Ireland who tirelessly work daily in schools, hospitals, government agencies etc.. who do amazing work but are afraid to speak up or get bullied for speaking up.

I’m not afraid to speak up and I’m not afraid to bring a solid delegation with a cross section of people to include, doctors, whistleblowers, children and carers.., who have been abused by the state which has been covered up, to actively ensure that what my children and our family has suffered will not occur to another child, whistleblower or family in this country again.

As individuals we are isolated, together we make a difference.

Thank you!
