Cheyenne Short is being introduced back into the Bobcat Battalion JROTC Program.

We do not agree with this, nor do we support her previous actions or choices.

Her behavior is unbecoming of a Cadet, and we do not support nor tolerate her rejoining the program, per CCR 145-2.

Cheyenne Short has brought alcohol onto our campus at Chaparral High School, and gave another Cadet alcohol poisoning due to her reckless actions. This is unacceptable under any circumstances, and we, as the Cadets currently enrolled, do not invite her back to the program. 

Our BC from last year, prior to her removal, drank before our homecoming dance off campus, and showed up to homecoming under the influence. She was immediately removed from the program and was not invited back to any event we hosted.

In the case of Cheyenne Short, she has been handed multiple chances to fix her actions after 5th,6th, and 7th counseling forms. She continues her repeated un-cadetlike behavior, and we will not stand for it.

The name and likeness of Chaparral JROTC is at stake to our students, and permitting previous Cadets who have been removed and put into an alternate campus ruins the idea of honor, respect, and discipline within our battalion.

A multitude of times, I have walked into our staff room to see her sifting through cadets files. Her first action as the S3 last year was to make HERSELF a 2LT through JUMS, without any sort of board, nor did she ask about one, but to walk around with her new rank and assert herself.
