Dear Central Hudson- 
This is highly unacceptable. You are still in the midst of recovering from a failed billing system upgrade which resulted in thousands of fraudulent bills, frustrated clients, and the resignation of the majority of your public relations team. Instead of ensuring that this issue is resolved (which it’s not), you decide to add another fee to our residents during some of the highest energy costs in recent history. 

Due to the stress you have placed on our community from your practices and knowing that you have rate hikes already scheduled for next year, I believe it is FULLY on your corporation to eat the costs associated with the pandemic relief program.

While only a small percentage applied and benefited from your pandemic relief program, I know MANY of our residents are struggling to stay afloat.
