- Why are the general public asked to pay a fee,  to walk around with a bag promoting the retailer they purchased goods from. 
- Why has the 5p fee been allowed to grow to whatever the retailer now decides for plastic/paper bags. 
- Why even when it’s a recycled paper bag - are shoppers being charged. Today I paid  35p for a Paper bag with the ‘Clarks’ & 50p @ ‘M&S’ with both store brand plastered all over. 
- I propose for all paper bags without a retailers logo the charge is removed.  These bags should  be available in all stores. 
- I propose that where there is a paper bag with the retailers logo - the shopper gets 50p off for walking around with it, effectively advertising the retailer. 
- I propose that for polythene bags the shops still using them pay a tax for all bags NOT the consumer.
