Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer(LGBTQ) students perceived as LGBTQ are at an increased risk of being bullied in school. Some students reported not going to school because of being bullied on school premises. Bullying puts all LGBTQ at increased risk of depression, and suicidal ideation and it can affect academics as well. this bullying is associated with their sexual orientation or gender identity, These are important and unique considerations for strategies to prevent and address bullying of LGBTQ students, most, if adopted by schools make schools safer for all students. Schools should encourage respect for all students, and prohibit bullying, harassment, and violence against all students. identify safe spaces such as counselor's offices where LGBTQ students can receive support from administrators, teachers, and other school stuff, train school staff on how to create safe and supportive school environments for LGBTQ including other students.
