To the Broward County School Board,

The Students and Parents of Broward Schools have been troubled by this recent decision to mandate clear backpacks in school. This Clear Backpack policy affects student's privacy and hurts the parents when they see their child concerned for privacy.

If this is implemented, it will not do much in the means of safety. While you may be able to see what a student is carrying, some may not be able to afford the bags, while others fear that people may ridicule them for having certain items.

We need to act immediately to prevent the school from fully putting this policy into effect. The school board cannot deny public opinion, and we have to make our voices heard.
