The new bike way on Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street is currently not permanent, but it can be. It is in your hands to stop this lane from becoming a permanent lane. We can all see that there is not enough bicycle traffic for this lane to exist. The lanes are hardly used and only cause more traffic for vehicles during rush hours. 
There is a petition “Make the Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street Protected Bikeway Permanent” we can fight this petition with our own petition and stop the new bike way from becoming permanent!
