Stop Big Corporations From Robbing Americans

The Issue

What is The Sherman Antitrust Act :This Act outlaws all contracts, combinations, and conspiracies that unreasonably restrain interstate and foreign trade. This includes agreements among competitors to fix prices, rig bids, and allocate customers, which are punishable as criminal felonies.

  1. The Sherman Antitrust Act refers to a landmark U.S. law that banned businesses from colluding or merging to form a monopoly. Passed in 1890, the law prevented these groups from dictating, controlling, and manipulating prices in a particular market.
  2. The exorbitant cost of food is an issue that demands our immediate attention and action. It is an undeniable fact that the price of food has skyrocketed to unprecedented levels, leaving countless individuals and families struggling to put meals on their tables. This grave injustice is a direct consequence of a broken and exploitative system that prioritizes profit over the well-being of people and the planet.
  3. Many people are questioning why the price of food has risen to the point that families are going to bed hungry. The answer is that Big Corporations are violating the Sherman Antitrust Act.
  4. Fieldale, George's, Mar Jac, Peco, Pilgrim's, and Tyson have reached a settlement agreement of $181 million, while maintaining their denial of any wrongdoing. If you have made a purchase of chicken products within the period of January 1, 2009, to July 31, 2019, you were  eligible to receive a portion of the $181 million settlement.
  5. Many individuals are unaware that they were entitled to receive financial damages from the lawsuits filed against these large corporations due to their involvement in causing inflation. It is evident that the American citizens were not provided with information.
  6. Although these large corporations were responsible for the inflation of food prices. The price of meat has not decreased.

Solution

  1. We request that these corporations be closed and discontinued promptly.
  2. We request that those responsible for this violation be incarcerated without the option of bail. A mandatory sentence of 10 years per state is required by law.
  3. We request that those responsible for the violence provide financial compensation to every individual affected by the violence, using funds from their personal wealth. We are not accepting payment from their insurance, but rather from their personal accounts.
  4. We request that any public officer associated with these corporations and aware of their misconduct be held accountable.

  5. We also request an investigation into the facility where the produce was held due to health concerns.

  6. We seek to ensure that the government is held responsible for permitting this act of violence to occur.
