Stop Bias & Bigotry Against The Black Church!

Stop Bias & Bigotry Against The Black Church!
The Issue
I am a father, a pastor, a community organizer, and a civil rights activist. Serving our community is not just my duty; it's my passion. Our church has been the beacon of hope for many in Coram, NY - ministering to the community with a holistic approach that empowers individuals spiritually and provides humane support and outreach services.
However, we have recently witnessed an alarming rise in anti-black church sentiment within our town. This has led to our beloved church being displaced from its rightful place in Coram. The absence of our church is deeply felt by those who relied on its services - particularly the most vulnerable and needy members of our society.
Our town needs this institution back more than ever before - not just as a place of worship but as an essential pillar that supports the well-being of all residents regardless of their race or socio-economic status.
The restoration of our church isn't merely about reclaiming physical space; it's about reaffirming Coram's commitment to inclusivity, diversity and social justice. It's about ensuring that every resident feels seen, heard and valued.
We must stand together against bigotry in all its forms and work towards creating an environment where everyone can thrive without fear or prejudice.
Join us today by signing this petition to bring back our cherished church to Coram NY – because together we can make change happen!
