A new ASB constitution, approved by the principal of Banning High School (Mr. Paz), recently went into effect at Banning High School. Under this new constitution, the ASB club has the authority to take money earned by individual clubs and use it for ASB's own profits.

 

ASB is reportedly spending funds on unnecessary expenses (such as a trip to Hawaii) while also apparently claiming that they have no money. 

 

The wrongful spending of these funds has put major student milestones at risk, with the Class of 2027's Prom currently rumored to be in danger due to a lack of budget.

 

Banning High School's Clubs work hard to raise their own money, and it is very unfair for ASB to absorb these funds, leaving the groups that ACTUALLY did the fundraising with little to no money.

We need to change or replace this constitution so that all clubs are properly funded and fundraising profits stay with the clubs that earned them.
