For many fans like myself, seeing Ariana Grande live is a dream. We save for months, eagerly waiting our turn in online queues, with the hope of buying a ticket we can afford. However, what we're faced with instead are exorbitant prices unjustified by anything but the labels "premium" or "VIP,” thanks to AXS.

Thousands of music enthusiasts across the UK are planning, dreaming, and ultimately sacrificing to attend Ariana’s concerts, only to be met with ticket prices marked up by hundreds of pounds. This not only dampens the enthusiasm of fans but also appears as an exploitation rooted in the emotional connection and loyalty we hold for our favourite artist.

According to reports, AXS’s so-called premium experiences for Ariana Grande concerts can cost a fan close to two or three times the face value of a standard ticket. These “upgraded” options are often not inclusive of any substantial extra-ordinary experiences that justify the steep prices. Rather than offering something truly unique or extraordinary, the distinction between standard and premium often falls short of delivering tangible value.

In my opinion, it is unfair for AXS to take advantage of fans in this way, positioning financial roadblocks in front of a universal passion - music. I believe that every fan should have the equal opportunity to enjoy a live concert without falling prey to unaffordable premiums.

They must ensure that premium experiences offer clear value or otherwise adjust their price structures to align more fairly with standard ticket prices.
