Stop Avana Lexington Apartments from Requiring Residents to Use Fetch Delivery
The Issue
Recently the Avana Lexington apartment complex has begun requiring residents to use the delivery service, Fetch, instead of holding packages at the apartment complex. Fetch is a great idea in theory, however the experience using this service has been a nightmare. It turns a 2-day delivery Amazon Prime order into a 3, 4, 5 day or more delivery. Packages are constantly being lost, rescheduled multiple times, and not showing up at our doors when they are said to be "out for delivery." There is no communication between Fetch and its users. There is no phone number for the facility. The customer support that is built into the app is no help, giving delayed responses or not responding at all, and never actually resolving your issue. Fetch has a 1.3 average rating on Google. It is a detriment to the residents of Avana Lexington as well as the apartment complex as a whole. If Avana Lexington continues to require us to use this service, I can't see a future where I re-sign my lease. At the very least it should be an option, instead of having to pay a monthly fee for a service that makes life harder, not easier. It does not make sense that we pay for this service on top of $15 a month for Amazon Prime, just to get our packages multiple days later. If you are tired of dealing with this service, please sign this petition and change our apartment complex for the better.
