Thanks again for the support you gave by signing this petition, for your concern for Mississauga's affordable housing crisis and saving a historic house. It is deeply appreciated. A lot has happened in 2020, an extremely challenging year. I am sorry I did not post more frequent updates on this Change.org petition, but this is not over yet.
I want to update you on the latest developments as well as wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays, in the way you choose to celebrate. I also wish you the very best for 2021. In spite of all the difficulties caused by Covid-19, the government restrictions and the current lock down measures I also want to take this opportunity to say Happy New Year. A gofundme legal defence fund campaign has been launched...after I got bullied in my tenancy and in court, trying to save housing...NYX was awarded costs, which I hope to appeal. The war on my freedom, finances, health and human rights continues for the crime of simply asking for basic housing rights..I respectfully decline to bow to this oppression...It is my express opinion that rules and decisions I have been subjected to should conform to Canada’s Constitution but do not seem to...
NYX continues to pressure me to leave, yet there is no eviction order.... I do not plan on giving up! Every dollar raised is going towards helping in this fight. I am humbled by generous contributions of those who agree with me. The nature of this battle has become one about Freedom of expression and the importance of ensuring public participation in City decision making.
